The basis for liqueurs is a strong alcohol or spirit, which must be as pure and neutral as possible.
The distillers have two methods to prepare their liqueurs: The first is
called distillation process, the second method is known as the essence process.
Premium liqueurs are made by distillation. Cordials are made with the third
method called infusion process, in which alcohol and sugar are added to various fresh fruit juices.
The art of distillation, more particularly the preparation of distilled alcoholic
liquids for beverage and medicinal purposes, is of very ancient origin. It is probable that the art of making spirits was well known many centuries
